This is a crooked bank!!! If I could rate 0, I would! I was written a check by one of its local members. Of course, instead of taking it to my bank (to make sure it clears), I take it to the person's bank that wrote out the check (CB&T). They asked me if I banked with them and I told them no. They told me in order to cash the check, they will have to charge me $5 because I don't bank with them. What kind of sense does it make for me to be penalized because one of its members wrote me out a check? I can't help that we don't have the same financial institution! Their member wrote out the check!!!!! It's not like the check was from another bank or something! This is a scammmmmmm!!!! I took the check and went ahead and took a chance on depositing it at my bank! My bank doesnt charge nonmembers when they are cashing a check that was written out from my bank! Thats what most people do, take it to the bank of the author of the check to make sure it doesnt bounce! I would not bank with these people if it was the last bank on earth! I would rather have a safe!!! If you do bank with them, you better make sure they don't have any hidden fees they are slapping you with! These people are getting away with highway robbery! I used the one in Perry, GA a little over a year ago and they cashed the check with no problem! After all, it did come from their bank! Word to the wise: DO NOT TRUST YOUR MONEY AT THIS CROOKED BANK!!! They are greedy!!!!
